Online Therapy Covered by Curative Insurance
Healing Should Be Accessible
Using your Curative insurance may make it easier to begin therapy without adding significant financial stress to an already difficult time.
Jennifer L. Hillier, M.A., LPC-S, CCTP, is an in-network Curative provider offering secure online individual therapy for adults. Counseling is available when you are physically located in Texas, Colorado, or Florida, subject to Jennifer’s licensure and your specific Curative plan’s network and coverage requirements.
If you are looking for a therapist who understands unresolved childhood trauma, Complex PTSD, emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse recovery, trauma bonding, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or attachment wounds, you are in the right place.
Insurance benefits vary by plan, location, eligibility, and completion of Curative’s requirements. Coverage should always be verified before your first appointment.
Helping You Understand the Story Behind Your Survival
I believe people make sense once we understand the story behind their survival.
Many people begin therapy because they are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional exhaustion, or patterns they do not fully understand. These concerns may be connected to survival responses that developed during earlier experiences of trauma, emotional neglect, abuse, instability, rejection, or chronic stress.
Perhaps you learned to stay quiet to prevent conflict, care for everyone else before yourself, remain constantly prepared, or disconnect from your emotions because feeling them did not seem safe.
These responses may have helped you survive difficult circumstances. Today, however, they may contribute to anxiety, depression, perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty trusting, emotional numbness, relationship problems, or a harsh inner critic.
Healing begins by understanding these patterns with compassion rather than judgment. Together, we can explore the story behind your survival, process unresolved pain, strengthen boundaries, and help you reconnect with the person beneath the coping strategies.
My Approach
Therapy is not about “fixing” you.
It is about understanding why your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns developed—and helping you create healthier ways of responding today.
I provide trauma-informed, individualized therapy rather than forcing every client through the same treatment formula.
Depending on your needs and goals, treatment may incorporate:
EMDR Therapy
Internal Family Systems
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Attachment-Based Therapy
Existential Therapy
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Each treatment plan is personalized because every person’s history, needs, identity, relationships, and goals are different.
Together, we may work on calming your nervous system, processing painful memories, quieting the inner critic, rebuilding self-trust, establishing healthier boundaries, reconnecting with emotions, and developing tools that support healing beyond therapy.
Online Therapy in Texas, Colorado, and Florida

Your ability to use Curative insurance depends on whether your specific plan includes Jennifer within its network and covers services in the state where you are located during the appointment.
Being licensed to provide counseling in a state does not automatically mean that every Curative plan in that state includes in-network coverage.
Please verify both your location-based coverage and provider network before scheduling.
