WELCOME TO COUNSELING AND THERAPY WITH JENNIFER L. HILLIER

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used; when we created them.” -Albert Einstein.

Two way lane through the forest; with text stating time for change painted on the road.

Never seen the point in talking; Am listening! Are you tired of feeling like there is something missing in your life; has life become burdensome, or gone awry? Do you feel like your life taken a turn in an unsettling direction? Are you struggling to be present in the moment? If your answers to these questions are redundantly, Yes! Then it may be time for you to talk to a professional.

There are various reasons why people seek counseling. For some, there is a specific reason, such as, wanting to address past or present events that have or are impacting their lives negatively. Other may find that their life is at a plateau and are complicating change. Therapy is a safe place that get a better understanding of themselves. Counseling can help you find a deeper meaningful life that is more balanced. In fact therapy isn't limited to a particular issue.

Investing in counseling is an investment for your future. You must decide if it will be worthwhile. Therapy can help you deal with difficult circumstances and events that may distress you, help you find your most authentic self, and enhance communication in relationships in everyday life. Start creating new possibilities, and let go of old patterns and behaviors that no longer serve you. Change can only occur when you take steps forward.

It's time for change. The fact that you are on my website reading this page tell me you are ready for change; but may not be sure how or where to start. It okay, you are exactly where you need to be. The most important component to starting your journey is your commitment to change. It okay to have set back; but it not okay to self sabotage. The second most important part of change is acceptance. You must make a decision on whether or not you want to continue being at war with your mind and body. Third, is ownership. You must own up to your role and behaviors in order to understand and learn from it.
